Our Competitions Secretary, Dan Waller, will talk in a Bonus Tuesday Zoom about what the Royal Photographic Society is and what benefits there are to membership. He will discuss how to apply for RPS distinctions, by way of addressing his own journey to gaining both the Licentiate (LRPS) and the Associate (ARPS) Distinctions, adding any tips for success which he has discovered along the way.

Our popular ‘washing line‘ evening returns with a chance for members to display their prints on a washing line and discuss them. The focus will be on the photos which members take on the Summer Walk in Clerkenwell (see event on 16th July).

Our Internal competition for members continues with Round 2, which has an ‘Open‘ theme, which means members may submit photos of any genre. The judge will be Malcolm Rapier, who makes a welcome return to the Society.

Marianne Holm Hansen is a multi-displinary artist and photographer and Masters graduate of Goldsmiths. Marianne will speak on the topic of Architecture this evening and, having inspired us, will then return on 3rd December to judge our internal competition (Round 3), with the theme of Architecture.
